Every year on Good Friday, friends and family gather together at my brother’s house. It was a gorgeous day, and the kids never took a break from playing. Baseball, jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, dying eggs, and an Easter egg hunt were all part of the fun in the day.
As if they weren’t having enough fun already, Aunt Jamie went and bought a slip-n-slide for all the kiddos. My brother and his neighbor share a ditch in between their two houses, and this became the ultimate slip-n-slide setup. Of course the ditch was dry, so they set up a kiddie pool at the bottom to add extra splash.
The next day added more fun to our weekend. We celebrated Easter at my parent’s house with my brothers and their families. We barbequed; however, I think the kids ate candy for the majority of the day.
Aunt Jamie then hid eggs and let the kids find them with their baskets. Aunt Jamie is always finding fun things to do to keep the kiddos occupied.
It was such a nice and relaxing day, however we missed our big girls Jaden & Hailey. All the kiddos went home with way too much stuff, but they were ready to go to bed that night to wake up and see what the Easter Bunny would bring in the morning.
