Last week was nonstop! Between Christmas activities for work, Christmas parties, and school plays, we could barely keep up!
Friday, in particular, was jammed packed. We started off with the Christmas play at the girls’ school. Adorable as usual!
Kennedy was a star, and made sure everyone could hear that voice in the microphone :) Can you tell she loves being on the stage!?
Jules was not far behind…joining her class in pajamas as they sang their song and rang their jingle bells. They were absolutely adorable.
To end the show with a bang, it started SNOWING during the finale!
To add to the busy day, we had to make a stop at Chuck-E-Cheese. Why you ask? My Jules Camryn has been sleeping in her bed!!!! Just like I did for her sister, I made Jules a “bedtime chart.” Once she earned 5 stickers, I promised her she would get to go to Chuck-E-Cheese. It only took her about a week and a half, and voila! No more Jules in our bed! (I secretly miss her, but I love my own space haha)
When we got home, we then bathed and changed for more Christmas fun! Seth’s cousins put on an annual light show at their house, and it never disappoints. This year, Elsa, Anna, Mickey, and Minnie were there to join in on the fun. I feel sorry for Elsa and Anna, because my girls were literally glued to their hip. I forgot my good camera (it was charging from all the fun earlier in the day), but we were able to get some goodies with the phone. The girls are still talking about this night – great memories.
Another tradition which with kids look forward to is waving to Santa on the firetruck. The Sunday before Christmas, Santa and his elves parade through the streets and throw candy to the kiddos. Our neighborhood gang gets bigger and bigger every year!
In between all of that fun, my BIG boy turned 4 months! He is so much fun right now. He is still eating me out of this house, but he is a happy boy so I don’t mind. He is babbling and reaching for toys, and he LOVES watching his sisters play. He also cracks up laughing at Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Busy time of year, but glad we can make memories like this with our family. I am looking forward to some rest, though ;)
