Annual Neighborhood Easter Gathering

Every year our neighbor, Aunt Connie, put on an Easter gathering for the kids. They look forward to it every year – especially since the Easter Bunny always makes a surprise visit. This year, we had many of the activities inside, because the weather was cold and rainy on this particular day. I don’t think the kids ever noticed!

We started off dying eggs – one of their favorites! Easton enjoyed watching all the chaos around!

Next, they had sack races around the living room – our kid crew is growing by the month! Literally!

Next, the kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt outside! Kennedy used this time to practice her two-wheel skills…I think she’s finally got it by herself!

We then sat all the kids down so that they could sing, “Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail” REALLY loud. Legend has it, that if you sing really really loud….Peter Cotton Tail himself may appear!!!!

We are so lucky that Aunt Connie does this for the kids every year – thanks again! Hopefully next year we will have better weather!
