This weekend was our t-ball tournament. This is Kennedy’s second year playing, and Jules’ first. I can’t get enough of t-ball cuteness. They are adorable in their oversized shirts, shorts, and huge socks.
I love watching them play, but I think I love watching my husband coach even more. His little heart is so into the team – he’s so proud of them :)
As I was sitting there watching all the munchkins play (and because I’m so corny), I couldn’t help but think that this is exactly what life is really like….a t-ball game.
Put your game face on, and BE READY for anything that comes your way.
YOU CAN DO IT. Everything that you practiced for…school, dance, sports, etc pays off in the big game of life in some way somehow.
Sometimes you may get distracted, and you may stray off the path.
Just keep your eye on that goal.
Hold your hands out, and catch whatever comes your way.
Don’t worry about when you miss. You will miss SO MANY TIMES.
There will be tears and disappointment.
Sometimes you will need to be coached along the way.
But when you HIT, you will feel something that will I hope you will become familiar with – accomplishment.
Find the positive in everything you do, and remember to have FUN.
Wherever you go, make a friend. BE KIND. You never know who you will need one day.
….and SMILE. Smile always.
…and you will be surprised at all the trophies (blessings) that come your way.
