Growing up I can remember being asked to homecoming in the parish pee wee football league. How quickly does time pass! Now our girls walked in their very first homecoming, and it was the cutest thing I ever did see.
To start off homecoming week, the football players and cheerleaders ride in a homecoming parade throughout the area. It’s a fun way to kick off a week full of activities.
At first they were thrilled to ride in a parade. However, the minute it started, Ms. Jules became a little scared. One cheerleader down! For the rest of the parade, Jules enjoyed catching beads and candy from Kennedy. The parade ended at the Rams pep rally where the girls cheered!
On Homecoming day, the football players ask someone to walk down the field as their name is called. This year, our cousins Luke & Landen asked Kennedy & Jules to walk by their side. How adorable!!
The girls were eager to get dressed up and wear makeup. A cold front came through this past weekend, so it was chilly. They were wrapped in blankets and towels before they walked!
Easton was a trooper and cheered on his big sisters. Pretty soon, he will be walking in homecoming!
Thanks to Landen and Luke for making our girls feel so special! You both had a great season – GO RAMS!
