Our last day was spent at Hollywood Studios. We started off our day with breakfast at the resort. The girls’ favorite was Mickey waffles with syrup & bananas.
Once we got to the park, we headed to the major attractions we wanted to see first. On our way there, we noticed some actors on the street. We stopped to watch for a moment as they laid out a red carpet. They asked for volunteers to walk down. Kennedy immediately hid behind me (because we all know she is SO shy). Jules, however, walked right up the carpet and started strutting her stuff! She even gave a pose at the end! That’s her momma’s girl!
We headed to The Twilight Zone – Terror of Terror before the line was too long. Again I explained the ride, showed YouTube vidoes…and my girls still wanted to ride! I love that they were fearless this entire time! Makes it so much more fun to experience when they are down for anything!
They are still talking about this ride – they absolutely loved it!
Next we headed to Toy Story – Midway Mania where we were able to “shoot” toys, bulleyes, etc. This was super fun! The wait gets long here as well, but luckily we had a FastPass.
On our way to our next FastPass, the girls relaxed for some face painting!
Next we headed to For the First Time in Forever – A Frozen Sing Along Celebration. We scored second row seats right in the center. What an awesome show! It’s hilarious!
After a quick snack, we headed to Voyage of The Little Mermaid. The park was full of Star Wars fans, characters, and souvenirs. We even ran into these guys in the street!
After we rode The Great Movie Ride (their favorite part was The Wizard of Oz) we headed to Disney Junior – Live on Stage! This by far would have been Easton’s favorite. Next time, buddy!
Before we checked in for dinner, we saw Pluto in the street! Jules sleeps with Pluto every night – he is her favorite, so we had to meet him and give him a hug. She would not let him go – she was hugging him so tight! It was precious!
Dinner that night was a holiday dinner with Mickey & Friends at Hollywood and Vine. We net Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, & Goofy! They were all dressed in their Christmas best!
We were laughing at Jules when Donald came to our table. She was eating her ice cream for dessert and just did not want to stop! I told her THE Donald Duck is at your table…put your spoon down! That girl sure does enjoy her food :)
Kennedy thought it was hilarious that she pretended like I was choking her in our Goofy picture. I didn’t notice until we looked at the pictures afterwards! Can’t take that girl anywhere!
We could not have ended our vacation on a more perfect show. When I booked our dinner, we scored Fantasmic! center section tickets. The center section was reserved for holiday dinner guests. We sat a couple of rows from the bottom – perfect seats! I cannot brag on this show enough – it was AWESOME. Water show, lasers, fireworks, surprises….must see!
Since we brought autograph books last time (which the girls look at often), I bought blank canvas bags for the characters to sign. I used iron-on decals to make it Disney-like, and we had the characters sign in red. We love the way they came out!
We had a quick trip, but it was so worth going. Such a memorable and fun girls trip. Thanks to Nana & Grampi for all the help…and we are so glad our Hailey Bug was able to come! Until next time, Disney!
