The Bunny Bash at Aunt Connie’s house just gets better and better each year. We had a huge crew this year which made the festivities even better!
We started out dyeing Easter Eggs – poor Easton fell asleep right before we started, so he was snoozing during this activity.
Next up was bunny sack races – this was so funny to watch. The kids jump and jump and jump and just pray they get somewhere :) When the moms joined in, it was even funnier!
Egg balancing on a spoon can’t be easy! Kennedy was a pro at this one (which surprised me since she is so clumsy).
Our favorite visitor arrived – Peter Cottontail himself! Easton just stared at him…at least he did not cry! Of course we took our annual family picture on the bunny…Jules was just a baby the first time we did this – they grow too fast!
It was Easter Egg Hunt time next! The little ones were able to go first. Easton found two eggs (all by himself), and he was so excited. Once he had one in each hand, he just quit the hunt and went play with his two eggs :)
The big kid hunt was afterwards – Jules won a prize for finding the most eggs! Good eyes Julesy Wulsey!
Lastly, the kids had a silly string fight – this was the girls’ favorite (and my favorite pictures out of them all!) You cannot help but smile when looking at these pictures – it looks like so much fun!! I think next year the moms will have to participate in this activity as well :)
The parents didn’t escape the chaos entirely….some of the dads were attacked!
Another successful Bunny Bash! We can’t thank Aunt Connie enough for organizing this every year – the kids look forward to this every Easter. We appreciate it!
