Jules was super excited for me to attend her field trip to the zoo…she secretly loves being the only child for the day ;)
The kids looked adorable in their animal shirts they made in class!
Randomly, we would see some animals free to roam where they pleased – ducks, geese, peacocks, etc. Jules wanted to touch them so bad – this girl has no fear!
I just love taking pictures of the animals at the zoo! Sometimes I think some of them are posing for me!
As Jules and I were walking, we saw a peacock who looked like he was about to spread his feathers wide. We waited…and waited…and waited for that bad boy to open. When he finally did, it was BEAUTIFUL!!
There is a “red bird” that lives outside of the PreK classroom at school – the kids always see him and wave to him. Jules was excited that “red bird” followed the bus all the way to the zoo!
Jules’ favorite part was the petting zoo! She said she wished she could have pet ALL the animals – even the tiger!
Out of everything in the souvenir shop, she chose her very own pair of binoculars. She looked out of those binoculars until she fell asleep in my lap :)
I had a wonderful day hanging out with just my Julesy girl. She has the sweetest heart :)
