We headed out for our annual friends trip to Orange Beach last week. The girls were excited to get in the waves, and Easton kept yelling, “Beach! Beach!” (even though he had no idea)
Our first day we headed out early, because we could not contain our excitement! They looked picture perfect in their cover-ups, sun hats, and shades!
The water was gorgeous! The girls could not wait to get in…unfortunately about 10 minutes later Kennedy was stung by a jellyfish. They were a lot more cautious afterwards!
I was nervous at how Easton would react to the sand…last year he liked to sit on his chair and watch everyone. To my surprise this year, he was loving the sand and water just as much as the girls! He let out a big belly laugh every time the waves would meet his feet.
I loved watching Kennedy & Jules playing in the waves. They enjoyed getting knocked down, splashed, and overturned. All I could hear was giggles :)
After we ate sandwiches on the beach for lunch, Easton took a nap while the girls borrowed their friends’ boogie boards! They soon decided they wanted to go to the souvenir store to buy their own board!
That night we walked across the street to the Flora Bama Yacht club. We ate at a picnic table in the sand while listening to acoustic music. My kind of restaurant! It was a wonderful beginning to a memorable trip!
